About the project

Ich laufe den Thuner Stadtlauf für einen guten Zweck und mache gleichzeitig aufmerksamm auf die Armut in der Welt. Falls der Thuner Stadtlauf nicht stattfindet, werde ich die Stecke trotzdem laufen und meine Frau wird mein Publikum sein.

38% of the world population does not have daily access to a decent toilet. Compassion is committed to building and sanitizing toilets for children.

Eine Patenschaft übernehmen

Durch eine persönliche Patenschaft (CHF 42 pro Monat) ermöglichst du einem Kind, aus Armut befreit zu werden. Die Arbeit von Compassion basiert auf den Grundwerten „Kennen-Lieben-Beschützen“. Die nachhaltige Unterstützung ermöglicht einem Kind unter anderem: Zugang zu Schulbildung, Nachhilfe und ergänzenden Unterricht, regelmässige ausgewogene Mahlzeiten, medizinische Versorgung, Schulung in Hygiene, Bibelunterricht u.a.m. Das Patenkind besucht jede Woche das Kinderzentrum einer der 8600 lokalen Partnerkirchen von Compassion. Dort nimmt es am Programm teil und kann sich ganzheitlich und gesund entwickeln und seine Talente entdecken.
